Our WSD event, held on Saturday 24th June 2017, was a fantastic afternoon. A small but enthusiastic group of travellers met

at the City of Sydney RSL club to commemorate this day, one which has become a tradition within Scleroderma NSW.

Our first guest speaker was Yo Han Ko from Crown Street Physiotherapy.

Yo Han demonstrated some very useful gentle stretching exercises suitable for people with scleroderma

and was available throughout the afternoon to answer questions and assist with the individual concerns of our members.

We would sincerely like to thank Yo Han for his generosity in joining us for the afternoon.

We were also privileged to have Tamara Kennedy and her family come along to share with us their recent journey;

"500,000 Steps for Scleroderma".

Tamara's mother, Trish, was diagnosed with scleroderma in June 2016.

Tamara and her father, Steve, gave us a wonderful insight into their grueling walk from Mt. Annan and Ariah Park.

The Scleroderma Association of NSW Inc. is proud to have supported Tamara and her team

by providing the necessary insurance cover for them to undertake this event.

Thank you to everyone who came along to share World Scleroderma Day with us.
