As a non-government, not-for-profit charitable organisation run primarily by volunteers, Scleroderma NSW relies heavily on donations.

- Fund ongoing research into the cause/s of Scleroderma
- Fund research into various aspects of the disease (including life-threatening symptoms)
- Fund research into management and coping strategies for patients
- Provide information and support to people living with Scleroderma
